1) Start to think about either a place, person, or object that’s located away from you
For instance, it can be a loved one (who’s not around), a vacation destination, or a cherished item. Ensure that what you choose is real and not made up.
If you choose a vacation spot, ensure it’s a place you’ve been to, and you have a clear memory of being there.
2) Think of the smallest details
As you visualize this place, person, or object in as much sensory detail as possible, allow yourself to drift off to sleep.
3) While you fall asleep, your mind may start to think about other things
When this happens, bring your focus back to your desired visualization as you transition from the waking world into the realm of sleep.

The Mirror Technique:
STEP 1: Place a full-length mirror in your room.
Ensure it’s in a position where you can see your entire reflection without having to move
STEP 2: Look at your reflection and inspect your whole body.
Notice all the details, including your clothes. Try to memorize everything you see, as you imagine you are painting a picture of the image in your mind.

STEP 3: To increase the chance to recognize that you are dreaming you need to work on enhancing your awareness, both in the real world and the dream world.
The truth is that dreams often appear to be extremely odd, and there are usually events, that is very unusual to happen in the real world.
You need to focus on that. This will be an easy way to figure that you are dreaming.
You can do that by trying to look for literally anything odd or out of the ordinary, such as:

Don’t rush and get carried away as you may wake up. Instead, let the movements happen gradually and organically.
It may happen that you will wake up in the vibrational state while you are still in your physical body. If that happens, stay calm. Guide your inner self and your awareness, away from your physical body.
